Production

UCSGRAPHENE has the capacity to provide up to 5,000 kg/year, and is able to serve national and international research with high-purity, high-quality nanoplatelets.

Application

Development of innovative projects and technology transfer in different areas of knowledge, developing new products or improving existing ones by incorporating graphene, nanomaterials or other materials.
With a highly skilled multidisciplinary team and state-of-the-art infrastructure, UCSGRAPHENE is a hub of innovation that connects academia and industries, collaborating directly on the development of high-performance solutions. Its operations cover a wide range of industrial sectors, including automotive, agricultural, regenerative medicine, nanotechnology, composites, polymers, ceramics and smart materials. The objective is to create competitive edges for companies, through the integration of graphene or its derivatives and other advanced materials, using the structure of the Science, Technology and Innovation Park of the University of Caxias do Sul - TecnoUCS.

Characterization

The University of Caxias do Sul's technological services laboratories are accredited by CGCRE - General Coordination of Accreditation (INMETRO) or recognized by the Metrological Network - RS. These laboratories meet quality requirements according to NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 norm. They have a broad characterization structure aimed at internal and external analyses of materials in general. As a result of this expertise, laboratories have a strategic focus on graphene and its derivatives, or other nanomaterials.
